Overflow Ball Mill Introduction:
The structure of the overflow ball mill is basically the same as that of the lattice ball mill, except that there is no discharge lattice at the discharging end of the cylinder. Furthermore, the surface of the hollow journal bushing is equipped with an inverse spiral blade, which can return the spilt balls and coarse ores from the slurry to the mill. The grinding product of the overflow ball mill is free overflow through the discharge hollow journal. For this reason, the level of slurry in the cylinder must be higher than the lowest busbar level of the discharge shaft neck.

Overflow Ball Mill Working Principle:
When the motor drives the cylinder through pinion gears and big gears, the material is fed into the cylinder with feeder from the left end through the hollow journal. There is a certain amount of steel ball in the cylinder as grinding medium. The material is ground by the action of the steel ball. The ball mill is called overflow ball mill and is widely used in ball mill.

Overflow Ball Mill Application:
The overflow ball mill has the advantages of relatively simple structure, no grid grille, high grinding fineness and relatively less ball loading, etc. It is widely used in the second stage of fine grinding or in the case of relatively fine products.
