Grate Ball Mill Introductions:

The grate ball mill is provided with a grid plate at the discharging end, which is composed of a number of sector hole plates. The width of the grate hole on the grid hole is 7mm-20mm. The ore enters the space between the grid plate and the end cover through the grate hole, and then the material is lifted up by the lifting plate. The material slips along the lifting plate and passes through the conical block to the right to the hollow journal out of the machine.

Working Principle:

The grinding product of the grate ball mill is discharged from the ore discharge grid plate, it has the function of forced ore discharge, and the ore discharging speed is fast. The pulp surface level at the ore discharging end is lower than the lowest busbar level of the discharge shaft neck, so it is called low level ore discharge. There is a difference in height between the feed end and the discharge end in the mill, and the speed of the pulp passing through the mill is accelerated. Since there is less slurry stored in the grate ball mill and a lattice plate is in the way, the ball can be loaded more easily to fit the ball. When the ball falls, The impact of slurry resistance is also less effective, these reasons make its productivity and efficiency higher than the overflow ball mill, products Coarse grain size, not easy to produce over-crushing.
